The fact that you have been given life. Don’t feel the need the make yourself something you don’t want to/need to be. It’s a pointless and trivial task. Instead, bask in the essence of you! You are you and no one can be any you-er than you! I know, a rip off of good ‘ole Dr. Seuss. No matter how sour the moments in life can be, don’t let them make YOU bitter. Stay the way you are and no amount of lemons can ever make you sour. So, who wants to sip some lemonade and eat a piece of pie with me?

Balance. A simple word. 2 syllables. Nothing gets more simple than that…okay maybe it does, but stick with me.
In our crazy and chaotic world, we tend to lose the ability to juggle the things in our life. We are trying to juggle work, school, hobbies, friends, family, and possibly a romance, as well as time for ourselves. How do we do it? The truth is. Often times, we don’t. We tend to drop one thing or another. Which is perfectly acceptable and to be expected. We are only humans after all. But when trying to obtain balance in our lives, the real trick is not letting one thing run your life and not letting it take over everything else. Just make time for the things you need and want. Make priorities. Eliminate things that you don’t really do much for you either out of pleasure or necessity. Then, take what you have and go from there.
In all this balance though, never forget yourself. Always allow time for YOU. Not you AND someone else. Just YOU.
You are your most priceless possession after all.
